Weekender 2017 FAQs - If you have a question please check here first!

    Hi All,

We are getting a lot of enquiries and a lot of the same questions are coming up, so I've put together the below FAQs.

    1. Both grip and drift tracks are open Saturday only. There will be a tyre van on site for the day.

    2. All drivers must hold a valid driver’s license and all cars must be in roadworthy condition. Rockingham and the SXOC reserve the right to refuse admission to either track if a car is deemed to be unsafe.

    3. All drivers and passengers on track are required to wear a crash helmet, as well as long sleeves and legs – i.e. no shorts/t-shirts (limited helmet hire is available on track).

    4. All drivers and passengers must attend a driver’s briefing on Saturday and obtain a wristband before being admitted to either track. Wrist bands are non-transferrable.

    5. The campsite is open from Friday to Sunday. There will be a party on Saturday night, and some activities and general craic on Sunday.

    6. All camping tickets entitle the holder to five meals over the weekend – dinner on Friday, breakfast/lunch/dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday (if anyone is alive/sober enough to cook). Meals are non-transferrable and not alternative cash option will be provided. Menu to be confirmed.

    7. Refund/Resale Policy – This event is financed fully through ticket sales, and generally the club takes zero profit from it. As such, until such time as sufficient tickets have been sold to cover costs, no refund/resale/exchange of tickets will be permitted.

That's it for now, I will add to it if anything extra comes up. Any questions not answered above feel free to drop me a pm

    Thanks
    Clint

Are there petrol pumps on site? if so, how much is the fuel there and what octane rating is it?

There's a station on site but prices are super rapey. Shell and Tesco with 99 within five miles though.

There's no set time, but most people arrive late afternoon to leave time to set up tents in daylight. Dinner is usually about 6/7 on Friday.
