    I think John Stevenson's wiring guide used to be a sticky, or in FAQs or somewhere like that.
    If you PM him he's really helpful and I'm sure he wouldn't mind passing on his wiring guide. My advice would be don't question the instructions in the wiring guide, just do it and it works

    I did a ton of work to my car when I was building it with the RB that wasn't necessary for the conversion side of things. Biggest problems are wiring, exhaust, propshaft and intercooler. Get yourself an alarm/immobiliser fitted since the RB ECU doesn't have an immobiliser, and a front facing inlet manifold makes your intercooler pipework much easier.
