School me on S12 models please

Can someone give me a run down of the S12 models, and which are the desirable versions?

I didn't actually realize you could get an S12 over here in the states till yesterday lol.

the ones over there are going to be different spec's to the ones here in the Uk.

your best bet is to ask on Nico club, Nissan road racing or Ziptied. as they are USA based nissan clubs.

There were 2 body styles, the hatch and a booter (Gazelle), theres a PFL and FL in both. Engines in US were CA20E, CA18ET, VG30 - dont think the FJ20ET was sold in the US, its probably the most sought after though.

They made a GP special edition with wide arches etc but IIRC that was Europe only and if youre looking to mod be aware there is a lot thats different from S13, rear coilovers are a fabrication job and 5 stud on the rears is the same
