What car? My abs in the 13 was shocking definitely prefer it without plus if you intend on doing any trackdays abs won't be helping you much!

It's a very old, very basic system and something most people just sack off.

The unit it'self is bloody huge as well.

Remove it, and feel smug when you come to change your turbo/ gaskets and you have loads of room....

Honestly though its a much better pedal feel, and I found abs cuts in way to quick esspecially on track.

If its a road car id check the legality of removing it.

In ireland and australia it would get you in trouble.

Not sure what happens in the UK.

Same thing in Finland. You could remove it if Nissan would write you a document saying that the car was made also without abs. The document would have to list the differences between abs and non-abs model. Only problem is that at least Nissan Nordic won't write the document....

Mine saved me from going in to the back of a stationary dust bin lorry on a blind bend once, so I am keeping mine!

    ****-all

What regulation we do have on modifications isn't particularly enforced, there's lots of grey areas and confusion over rules as well.

There is a very simple difference between RS13U with and without ABS the ones with ABS have a "R" in the model code. If there isn't an R it didn't have ABS.

    RS13FTOCRW26

There are 133 different model codes but only 77 model / pack combinations.
