SR20 swap rev counter reading high

    Hi guys,

Followed the excellent John Bennett SR20 swap guide, wired in the resistor as it said, can't remember what wires and resistance off the top of my head, but as it is a pull up resistor either it should work or not right?

My problem is that is reads wrong, compared to my power fc hand commander which says it is something like 50rpm out at idle, then 500 out at 1.5k, 1000rpm out by 4k or something similar, redline is supposed to be standard but is being hit at something like 9k according to rev counter! Any idea what I have done wrong?
