    Fuel cut WOT s14a 11psi

    Looking for help.

    I've been getting fuel cut In the 14a at 14psi so I backed the boost off to 11psi thinking it was overbooked that was causing it but still does it at 11psi.

    So went for a drive and tried a few things. 3rd gear up a long incline at nearly full throttle and pulled at 11psi all the way to 6k. Tried again and as soon as I go wot it cuts, back off slightly and is ok.

    Car is at stage 1 but no chip I stalled.
    Ignition timing has been done, No boost leaks.

    Was fine at 14psi for a week.

    Any help or things to try.

    Not used that for a while, might not be but i wanted to say Boost Leak all the same.

    I don't think it is. Was set at 14psi and was fine for a week then started cutting. Drop it to 11psi and noticed a difference in power and still does it. Will order new gauge tonight though to rule it out

    I'd fit a stage 1(a) chip, as IIRC that removes the fuel cut, plus you get all the other benefits!

    I do plan on fitting the stage 1a chip. But didn't want to go fitting it and masking an underlying issue as the car should be quite happy boosting at 11psi at fuel throttle.

    Sounds like a boost leak or maf issue.
    Leak is always worth checking.

    Any way to test maf. I know has 3 wires. Ones ground. 12v and signal 5v

    Boost cut should be at 17psi iirc, I ran at 14psi for a couple years with no problems.

    Looks like I have now solved the problem, turns out I had a boost leak on the Inlet manifold. Boosting at 14psi again.
