    t28r passing oil - replacement?

My t28r is passing oil and I'm looking to replace/upgrade it as I know they can work out more expensive to rebuild due to the need to change the cartridge. I'm trying to avoid doing any other tuning upgrades at the same time.

I'm looking at the GT2871r but am unsure if I could run it with my current setup (I think the answer is no but I'm not 100%).

    Current Mods:
    FMIC
    Turbo-back exhaust
    Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
    Forge Actuator
    Exedy clutch
    Air filter
Oil catch can fitted (not that I'm sure this matters)
Currently running standard MAF and Injectors.

I don't want to go down the route of downgrading the turbo to the stock t28 and also don't want to buy a 2nd hand t28r and run the risk of having the same issue in a few months. Ideally I'd like an upgrade ready for when I'm chasing power but right now it'll have to be safe to drive with what I currently have as it's a daily driver.

Turbo/Nissan ownership is still relatively new to me so sorry if it's a stupid question!

    Thanks in advance, Megan
