    CA18det Rod Bearings

I want to replace my bearings as they're a bit worn.

I was going to replace them with ACL race ones but after reading some horror stories (all be it a few years old) I'm a bit dubious of buying them now!

What are people throwing in at the moment? ACL? Clevite (although can't find a uK supplier of these), King??

The engine runs 301bhp as is driven hard but no drifting. Bearings i removed were STD so that's the same as going back. No changes to crank etc.

    Thanks,

I see a lot of people recommending OEM nissan bearings, ACL being the next best choice.

I'll be going for oem if I can, otherwise ACL.

OE or acl Dura-gluide at that power level imo, the race version sizing issues was a while back/few years now
got a set of race version and sized up ok for my crank after a good micro polish
,read that the calico coated race version (nearly twice the price of race version) size up with a tighter clearance so can be good or bad
pending journal diameter on BE'S+Mains, bigger mains clearance = more psi bleed off oil feed to the BE's
a new OE oil pump from desa would be a good idea to go with the rebuild as bet the pump gears are marked from the old BE material in the oil

I think DESA on here can also get OEM bearings and the oil pump aforementioned.

there is like 10 different sized OEM ones though.

conceptua tuning or nevlock performance should be able to get you some.
