    NISMO slave cylinder

anyone know much about the NISMO slave cylinders?

Are they the exact same as the standard with just nismo written on it or are the bores actually different?

I need a softer clutch pedal and having one that's got a bigger bore will help reduce the pedal feel.

    cheers

i have a driftworks one, and it reduced the hardness to more or less stock levels from almost having to use both feet to depress it

compare the bore to that of a 300zx. as im sure I heard they are just those.
'topsecret' japan used to sell a longer clutch fork which gives more leverage and thus a softer pedal. I have both this and the nismo slave cylinder on my rb25 box and have a beautiful pedal.

I've been advised to get one in the past to soften the pedal up. Never got one as I changed the clutch in the end.

see iv got myself a 300zx slave and the bore is actually smaller, I have read up that people change them to those but still no joy.

Il have a look into that fork. My other option was to fabricate a bracket and use a willwood push type slave instead, or maybe even like the BMW E46 ones

whatever you decide to go with make sure you remove the cooler block on the chassis rail and rejoin the pipes it'll make bleeding 100 times easier

iv not got any of that anyway in mine as iv got a HEL braided pipe going straight from the master to the cylinder so bleeding for me is pretty easy

I fitted a nismo slave to my s13 after fitting an rps clutch kit with uprated pressure plate and the slave reduced the pressure needed to depress the clutch considerably. Highly recommended IMO

Do a search in tech s13. I got mine from apex but they ran out of stock. someone found another supplier a couple of years ago but I can't remember who it was. H-D possibly. It was discussed in techs13.
