Registration led advice needed

Hey guys
I got a bodykit fitted a while ago so i replaced the standard rear registration lights with some ebay leds, which looked fine and worked fine for a while.
After a short time they started flickering and now they have just failed.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to which kind of leds will work reliably with our cars?

I use a motorbike led strip. Seems to work ok and was only a few quid off ebay
