    Ganador Mirror glass

    Evening guys,

After some advice, looking for a replacement glass for my driver side mirror BUT its a curved glass not flat.

Anyone know if its possible to get these made for sensible money or if i'm going to need to settle for a flat glass instead?

Cant seem to find any for sale in the UK or for sale for sensible money anywhere for that matter.

Corner has been chipped off by the body-shop forcing the glass out

how curved is curved? you could just look at other car with wing mirrors / match the curve then order a replacement glass for that off ebay then cut it down. you can cut glass with an angle grinder.

Fairly certain the glass is flat in my ganadors? Unless the glass has already been replaced maybe.

    Hi guys,

Its not a massive curve to be fair but i would imagine it makes a difference with such a small glass.

Its curved in both axis so has a high point in the middle. The back plate is flat so it may well be that my glass has been upgraded as the basic mirrors did come with the flat glass.

Will call into halfords and see what i can find in there, can just take it to a local glass place then and get it trimmed to the right size.

    For info:

I have located a company in the UK that can replicate the convex glass that was offered by Ganador as an upgrade when buying the mirrors.

I will be taking a tracing of my backing plate and glass to ensure exact fitment of the replacement, once all is well i will post up a link and code for others to use for future replacements.
