CD009 Gearbox conversion, how do I get the speedo to work?

After almost a year of not posting (sorry ) I’m back as it’s about time I cracked on with the 180.

I’ve accumulated parts to do a CD009 gearbox conversion, mazworx machined bell housing, 1 piece ally prop, CD009 gearbox from a 2006 “Rev up” 350Z with 60k miles. That’ll be going in the car soon but one thing I was wondering is how am I going to get the speedo to work?

Obviously the SR20 gearbox has its own speed sensor which I cannot use on the CD009, as they get their speed from the diff. My 180sx was originally an abs model but has since been completely removed, has anyone done this conversion and found a way of getting a speedo on a s13/14

    Cheers all.

Do you have the abs sensor in the diff still?

Not currently but the plug coming from the chassis is still there, if I get a sensor do you think it’ll work?

Definitely, you take the signal from that, into a converted (someone on here will know the popular one) and into your speedo and adjust using an app for gps speed.

Or just get a GPS speedo interface

    EDIT:

This. It’s a Dakota digital converter I’ve got one, but haven’t wired it up yet.

Another vote for the Dakota. You can get it from Mazworx as well.
