    Weird issue after new clutch

Fitted a comp clutch white bunny kit with full face disk

All went fine on the fitting but when I start it for the first few minutes it makes the car vibrate when you put the peddle down but after it’s warmed up a touch it goes back to being perfectly smooth

During the job it had new rear main seal, flywheel, pilot bush, friction disk, pressure plate, release bearing and gearbox input seal

    Any ideas ?

Oh and it seems temperature related as colder days it does it for longer and I’ve done about 30 miles in it

Sounds to me like a centring issue. Did you use a centring tool to align it with the flywheel when you fitted it ?

Yeah used the one with the kit and the input shaft slotted perfectly into the clutch disk and pilot bush very easily

You've not fitted the doughnut for the prop upside down ? It's not reversible

If I remember right I didn’t unbolt the prop support I marked it and split it at the centre joint

It’s the temperature thing/first cold start that’s throughing me off

That could be the difference in the revs. Resonance is a funny thing and depends on revs.

I doubt it as you only need to tool to locate it on the splines, it could be a balancing issue.
