Nissan s14 differential question
Hey!
Anybody know if a finaldrive and pinion from a s13/14 without Abs will fit a diffhouse with abs?
Want to change from 3.692 to 4.08 in a s14 VLSd abs house
Thanks for any help!

It should fit as the diff to prop flange length and case length is what changes over the two. I'm pretty sure that you will have to remove the ABS sensor to get the pinion out though. This is difficult as they usually break but it can be done with a lot of penetrating fluid, small amount of heat and a lot of patience. If it does break, a genuine sensor is very expensive but there are alternatives that are discussed in a thread on this forum somewhere.
The crown wheel should fit without an issue.
I had a transmission shop do that with 4.11 skyline diff insides into a S14 ABS casing, both R200 diffs. Make sure that you change all the bearings and seals at the same time for piece of mind.

You don’t need to remove the abs sensor to drop the pinion out luckily

I might be getting mixed up with the pinion bearing then

Yeah might need to remove it to do that but I removed the pinion to get access to the inside of the abs sensor to hammer a dead one out
