    Goblin works garage on quest

And we thought wheeler dealers was bad,,,then this appeared and the preview it seemed cool (ish)
but nope with in 5 mins the freshly imported for 8k car is road tested in a disused quarry, screen washers don't work
so out jumps hipster dude and pi$$es on the screen and then bimbo totty smacks the 'project car' into a rock
claims of ripping up the rule book and being different/unique ,,? it's all been done before years ago

found this on piston heads and pretty much sums up my opinion https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/...&t=1717248&i=0

Although they seemed to do a good job of the escort, choice of engine and parts etc..... It was hardly ripping up any rule books.

And the paint scheme was hideous

    EDIT:

    Seems the sale of it was pure Americana TV bollocks too;

Seems all their cars are for sale on here, and there's some questionable choices to be made in future episodes :

    Scroll down\/ on the website.

    That capri looks OK tho

Capri does not look ok, looks like someone really wanted a Dodge charger and ruined a Capri.
Seats look nice, but they could have lifted the interior abit more.

They've used the wrong Capri, the Mk3 is more angular with stronger lines and that definite "80's look".
The Mk1 is much more curvy and the round wheel arches they used would look ten times better on that car.

Interior of the MG looks nice, but from the back it's bloody awful.
Them wheels are total shit as well.

The plastic windscreen fills me with confidence.......

Also the panel gaps and fit round the doors looked very poor in some shots

they went to look at a porche speedster ,went back to the MG and took it's bumpers off, didn't lower it or change any body panels,
it looks like a de-bumpered MG, why start with a very over priced later rubber bumper shed when the plan was to make a porky speedster looky likey

and then they kept the god awful BL B series lump of cast iron poop, and during the refit they were like 'will it fit?'
like they were shoehorning a big block chevy V8 in there,,,when all they are doing is refitting the same engine that came out!

and that Canadian beatnick hipster and his farmed out fiberglass panels was an ugly mess,he just takes the credit for others work
next is the lowered land rover that they claim no one has done before,,,,,er yes it has been done countless times before

no, not that one because it has wire wheels on.

the small holes between the big holes is what makes them more like jag wheels as the MG ones just have the big holes.

either way its totally w@@nk and I hate MGB's, only way to make them good is chop them in on a scrappage scheme.

    I watched this yesterday...

    What a load of turd.

It should be called "Goblin Works Garage - Glorified Parts Fitters". Bought an engine already done, sent the interior out to be re trimmed, sent the car out for cheap paint, sent the bike out for someone else to do all the fibreglass on that someone else designed. I bet the behind the scenes team did most of the fitting up too.

I posted these two earlier google lowered land rover and these's lots, they sold 'em world wide, there a lot of nut jobs in this world molesting vehicles
iirc they made a lowered landie for some obscure job in the army or something weird, could be something to do with loading aeroplanes
any hoo they claim its never been done before and so 'goblin garage',,,,didn't Ed China make something out of a landie?

I like the 'I'm alright Jack' single roll hoop as well, sort of come for a ride and if I fcuk it up you will most likely die from your face being dragged on tarmac
it has two seats,,why not make a bar for two seats

and the wheels were stupid priced magnesium things made to look like steels,
I know the one's green rs13 means ,some old jag with steelie's,,, D type?
could have painted some steel wheels silver ,,

All that work on the land rover to "hot rod" it and they left the standard 30yr old Leyland engine in it.....

But made it 2wd so lost its only "good" feature

Stupidly I sort of watched it ,the slightly lowered 100mm arse end and cowboy rake stupid thing was as bad as I imagined
clearly it is set up to make TV with fakery hype , the mk2 escort that 'sold' for near 30k is on ebay or somewhere now for 20k unsold
as there are better built higher spec mk2's out there for less money

then the Freddie spencer bike thing was a load of over hyped cr@p, if you want something to look like a 1979 z1000
why not start with a '79 z1000 and do that up like his race bike ? the brand new 2017 bike gets parts (a seat cowl ?) designed by someone else
and the work is farmed out again, sort of is this what you want? yeah! ok we will make that for you,,,hardly a cutting edge designer
to me it was the seat sort of looked like the '79 z and rest was still the brand new bike with some race number plates glued/screwed on to it

then he fcuked up something with the wiring loom,,,remember it's a brand new bike that was running just fine,,that he took apart,,
,and it does nothing but melt the loom on first try to start it,,,that cr@p gets you the sack as it's clear you ain't no mechanic
did he drill into the loom/ecu? for your stupid farmed out frp panels or trapped the loom under the tank?
it looked nothing like the '79 z apart from the seat as that is all that was changed as far as I see,the rest was 2017 brand new bike with carbon wheels
that Canadian and his bike designs is fake cr@p and makes no sense to me anyone would pay him good money

the Crapi is next to be molested and looks a lot worse than the 1st picture I see of it
