    S13 wiring gurus

I'm stripping out my looms & I need some help.
    1. If I hard wire the fuel pump with a relay in the boot next to my relocated battery with a fuse between the battery can I remove the 2 egi relays & the 10 amp fuel pump fuse from the engine bay?

    2. In the main fuse box in engine bay what are these relays?
    A. Ign coil FL30A anti skid x2. One is large the other is below.

Finally what is the FL30A P/wind relay.

    Cheers guys.

    Part 2.
In main fuse box there are 2 15 amp h/lamp fuses for Rh & Lh.
Are these for the lights or for the motors?

    1. No because these also provide power to ecu

2- ign coil is power to coilpacks

    3. Fl30a p/wind is i believe for piwer windows

Part 2. Both the wire is spliced between fusebox and smj

10a meter fuse is speedo etc and i believe st signal is signal to starter

    1. If I put a relay from the fuel pump wiring in the boot I cut into the signal wire from the ecu. By having switched power from the relay doesn't that just bypass both the relays in the engine bay?

    2. I don't understand what you mean about the 15amp light fuses & smj?

Cheers though very helpful so far mate.

1, no because the fuel pump hardwire relay (new relay) will have a permanent 12v feed direct from battery.
The signal is a seperate 12v feed from the ecu.

The egi relay provides switched power (via signal from ign switch) to the ecu.

Part 2, the 15amp fuses supply piwer to both headlight and motor the wire is spliced (splits into 2 ) between the engine bay fuse box and smj

I've completed an rb swap & I'm using an engine loom from america which is a specific s13 to rb. I've bought a G4+storm ecu.

Are you doing a fusebox relocate?

So as I have a g4 ecu that controls a lot of programs do you think now I can remove a lot more fusebox systems like the egi relays etc?

SMJ is the big white plug in the drivers foot well that everything passes through. cutting and shutting the original circuits just sounds like a massive head ache. I would just rip it all out and start again. buy a 'kit car' wiring loom from somewhere like car builder solutions and run your chassis off that.

I am going to run a link ecu and all i have kept relay wise is the egi relays, horn relay, and ign coil (although i may not need this)

I binned abs along time ago so that is gone and i have a ps front so no need for all the headlamp relays.

I am hoping to have my link and relays in my glovebox.

I've just bought silvia bricks so I binned all my pop up crap too.
I started on the loom today & the square white plug that goes through bulkhead I have 28 wires left in it so far.
Just need to check again what that module box (as above) is & if it's pop up related I can bin that too.
