Any difference in sr20det engine mounts L/R?

So i bought a set of sr20 engine mounts. Fortunately, i got to compare the set with a set of new ones, and there's difference between the RH and LH mounts.

Notice the studs on the new LH black top mount are spaced further apart. But the seller swears the engine mounts came off of his car like this... Can anyone verify whether the mounts can be mixed and matched??

Old - notice both are zinc colored coating:


New - notice there is a black and a zinc colored coating on the top piece, there are also stickers on the bottom to differentiate the 2:

I seem to remember the plates in the bush are different each side

From what I remember , the engine will not line up if put on the wrong side so I think there is a difference

Thanks for the replies fellas, Dan is investigating for me. He didn't think there was a diff... He'll figure out a way to sort it
