I like it lots, air ride is perfect for this sort of car best of both worlds imo
in the first yesterday pic on its own it looks perfect how it sits, even the paint with black wheels looks acceptable
the X pipe mod is often hard to fit in the ideal place, but if you ain't chasing every last hp like in nascar
I don't think it will affect much if its closer to the axle or further forward
a single straight link pipe or H will change the tone, the wide spaced X pipe is more the all out power adder mod
just as you mentioned not easy to fit

something new/interesting going on with the bonnet on the 14a I've not seen before?

I would have left it stock or with a modest drop, and a of course louder pipes.
    It could go lower

the frame/chassis rails are lower than the sill panels so my guess its close to sitting on the frame as is or very close to it
I like how with the rear arch infill panel it's tucking the whole hub and over half the wheel
,and we go on about tucking rims on S chassis like its a big deal,(tried that stupid idea and car drove like poop)

Correct Mike, Detroit Steel 22" Smoothies. there's actually a UK retailer in Aldershot (North Hants tyres)...

They do weigh as much as the moon though....

That's right Andy, it's actually sitting on the ground at the front sub-frame, and the rear is limited by the prop shaft in the tunnel. the wheel wells are so spacious they still have plenty of clearance when sitting on the ground!
Also, The maximum useable driving height is actually slightly higher than stock.

The body Colour is actually growing on me now that most of the chrome trims have gone, so i'm in no rush about deciding on a final colour....

Apart from the wheels that is faptastic. What air ride kit did you use or is it just jumbled together?

Cheers dude, I was considering keeping and re-chroming the bumpers but a quality re-chrome would cost north of 4K! But now its all finished I'm glad it turned out this way
And it looks pretty cool from the rear too...

Many, many more pictures needed of it stationary and on the move please.

That does look "cool as" from the pics.
