    I'm guessing you're young?

Green light, sky, admiral are all well used on here

Like Chris says, unless your car is totally standard, you need a broker that specialises in modified cars. as per his list.

Bristol is not a cheap place to insure a car due to the high levels of vehicle crime.

If you are young, in a modified car in Bristol, its a triple whammy.

Mine's insured with Performance Direct on a classic car policy (1997 s14a) Annual cost is £250 mods declared, With Zero NCD.
You can get an agreed value based on photo's etc.
Although, Usually classic policies mean you cant earn any NCD...

Age nowadays is a major factor in getting even a mildly sensible insurance quotation. Try all the usual suspects that offer specialist insurance to see if you can get a reasonable price (Keith Michaels, Sky, Adrian Flux, Greenlight, A-Plan).

I just renewed with Flux and the quotation came in cheaper than last year and was the only price I looked at so I didn’t bother attempting to shop around, the first time I’ve done that since I started driving. £387 down from £400 for those interested.
