New very excited 180sx owner Nottinghamshire

How do all, I've rescently just picked up a fresh Import 1998 180sx type x. This is the Sr20de variant and it is exceptionally clean! Paintwork is very dull but I'll get that sorted, it's as white underneath as it is up top. It's pretty much standard apart from an exhaust system and carbon covering on the centre console. I'm not sure where I'm going with it at the moment but I'm thinking of sticking some itbs on it and focusing on making it as tidy as possible. I'll get some photos up shortly.

ITB will cost a fortune, not really worth it at all unless you HAVE to stay NA for racing class.

For a 200-250bhp NA you could probably build a 400-500bhp turbo setup

Ahh fair enough well in that case I'll be putting together a turbo setup for the future. But I want to focus on the bodywork first.

If you look up engineered to slide, his s13 sr20de on itb makes the same power as a stock turbo setup, but the itbs probably cost the same money as drop in package lol

Ahh I've seen his videos on YouTube, it's a very nice build. I must admit I'm missing boost already, my last car was a starlet glanza running a td04

    Pics or it didn't happen

Get the car looking, stopping and steering how you want it and then worry about power - plenty of time to make decisions and the DE isn't a gutless engine to start with; it'll still be a nice drive

Looks wise I think I'm going to get a type x front splitter and the rear spats, hopefully some enkie RPF1 wheels and a nice brake amd suspension setup. Power wise I'm off lying working part time and I'm a part time student so the power side of things won't be happening until I've qualified next summer.
