That would be great
Thank you
You're gunna find it hard to find anyone interested at that kind of money.
End of the day it's always going to be a modified 318, and you can pick a std one up for under a grand.
I understand that e36 have a weird price range but to say it's just a modified 318 is a little naive in my opinion.
The car was stripped down to the bare shell so was a m3 evo and then built back up using all the parts from
The m3. The only reason it's not registered as an a m3 is because I wouldn't be able afford the insurance.
the amount of money this has cost to build is crazy so in my opinion it's a completely fair price.
but it will never be an M3, as it has a 318 ID.
I cant see how a 318 with all the M3 bits stuck on is cheaper to insure than a standard M3.
I would of thought after a project like that, the insurance would be the cheap part.
As green_rs13 said, if it's a 318i shell then it will always be a 318i. It can't be registered as an M3.
Worse, it's showing up on checkers as a 318i with the 1.9 140hp engine which means, like Slamz said, he's driving around illegally. So affording the insurance doesn't really matter because it's completely void anyway...
Half tempted to shop him in to his insurer tbh. Got the plate as S372 MDP.
