    Lean Cruise

On my way to work before I had some troublesome AFR readings.
I'm getting lean (16-16.7) mix during cruise at around 4000-5000 rpms and a bit less than half throttle.
Under boost it's richer than normal, around 10-11. Usually it's between 11-12.
The weird thing is I'm getting good 14.4-15.1 mix when cruising at lower rpms and less throttle. When I parked idling was around 13-14.
I quickly checked hoses but everything was connected and holding.

    Any ideas besides vacuum leak?

    Is it a Lambda car?

Do you have the correct combination of ECU, AFM and Lambda for your spec?

Lambda car yes, everything is correct. Running stage 1, 14.5-15 psi boost. Aftermarket FPR (cheap), may be the problem, but I don't really know how to discard it except trying another one which I don't have.

I do get inconsistent idle AFR sometimes. Goes down to 12-13 for a little while the goes back up to 14.6. I changed the power steering pump the other day which helped a bit since it was pretty much fried. But it always has been doing that, it's kind of part of the engine now lol.

Most of the sensors are new or checked recently.

Now that I think about this, I have seen this happen in the past few months a couple of times, but never this constant. It usually happened a couple of throttle presses and then went back to normal. For all I know, when I return home later it could all be fine.

There's a gremlin in the engine.

I'd start with binning off that cheap aftermarket FPR and putting the stock one back.

I'll probably do that regardless yeah. The gauge casing vibrates like hell, it's garbage. I only hope I find the OEM one within one of the many cases at home, I know I didn't throw it.

Well that fixed it. And not only that but it runs much smoother lol. Shoud have done that a while ago.
