Sometimes it is worth knowing a pikey

Been clearing out the Garage and shed the last few weeks, have a trailer full of junk and a pile next to it. I would have hated taking it down the tip, because it would have taken just too much of my time.

Had a friend who we call "John the Pikey" because he is a pikey, but a nice one.. do the drive way and he asked me about the junk. I said I was going to hire another skip.

He said how much do I want for it... I'll give you £5 per battery and whatever else you want for the rest.

I said deal, 5 per battery, come get the rest. He has just saved me £170 Skip Hire

To me it is junk, to him it is scrap he can sell.

Weighed in 4 batteries early this year, £33. Min pay out to bank account was £20 and they hold anything less on account.
