    Windscreen replacement

Look at my screen last week and it’s got tons of little chips in it and would love to get it replaced, will normal window companies replace this? What’s likely costs or use insurance?

I had to get a windscreen replaced in my daily driver ford focus. Went through insurance as I had windscreen cover. Cost the windscreen excess of £50 I think and didn't effect no claims. The windscreen was properly cracked and wouldn't have passed mot though. I'm sure an s14 windscreen would be expensive as it's prob very rare.

Autoglass say on their website that they can do it, so if you have windscreen cover it and it conveniently cracked it would be replaced for the excess (usually 50 to 75 odd quid).
