"Hagerty's Festival of the Unexceptional 2018 will take place on 14th July between 10am and 3pm at Stowe House, Buckingham, MK18 5EH." apparently.

Nope never heard of it
It looks the nuts

There was a wonderfully original 1982 Austin Metro in glorious beige, next to a gorgeous 1980 Austin Maxi 1750 in stunning orange. Flying the ‘modern classics’ flag was Gavin Bushby’s 1990 Fiat Tempra, a car bought unseen from Scotland and in superb condition; the back seat, in blue velour, looking almost untouched.
The winner last year:
Best in Show: 1983 Datsun Sunny 1.5 GL (Mark Ashbridge)
But in short, let's do it - cos it looks lulzy AF
'Hagerty’s Festival of the Unexceptional celebrates the cars that were the workhorses of their day: the base model saloons, hatchbacks and estates that were sold in their millions between roughly 1968 and 1989, and are now so rare.
Porn of my child hood It will be like going to an retro motorshow
Do we not think that standard S12s and S13s would fit right in alongside Firenzas and Avengers ?
OK, they are a bit more exotic than Austin 1100s and Allegros but they are deffo never going to be up against Ferraris, Jags or even Mustangs.
You'd have to rip the air con out, stick steel wheels on it etc
Don't see why it wouldn't fit in to be honest.
its all Deacons dirty automotive fantasies rolled in to 1
Same weekend as Goodwood
Probably different audience to be fair.
If we're doing it this year it's moved venue. Still Bucks but now Claydon Estate.
Don't ask me how I know
Lol
Given its in mid-July, I might buy a car to take.
Anyone got any suggestions of something reasonably priced and reasonably cool and (Mark) not a Ford ?
I'm thinking sub-£3000 ideally but for something special could go a bit higher.
Fso 125
I was thinking more everyday 60s-70s UK cars like a Vauxhall e.g. viva, cresta, victor, vx4/90 or a Triumph 2500, spitfire, herald, Rover P6 or whatever.
