    Engine oil

On my unopened sr20 I would always use motul 300v 15 50w oil. But on my recently rebuilt engine I'm tempted to drop to 10 40w as I know the tollerences are tighter etc.. but I can't decide.

What is everyone else using these days??

I used to use Mobil 1 15/50 Before fully synthetic oil went viral lol

I have been using Castrol Edge 5/40. Last time round i went to town and put in sylkolene pro s.

Next service I will be using Syntium. It's good stuff and doesn't cost the earth.

My engine builder recommended 10w50 Comma Motorsport, so that's what I use

5w30 or 5w40 IMO. 50 grade is too thick unless you do a lot of track work. 15w is far too thick if you use the car in winter.

I agree with this! Unless the engine has been built witg bigger tolerances and holes in pistons, oil control rings etc

Mine is well overdue an oil change and I’ve just gone for the Fuchs Fully Synth 5w40 as Opie Oils have got some offers on at the moment.
