The petrol lawnmower is on it's way out after 12 years. Am considering a cordless one this time, been told a 4.0Ah battery lasts about 40 mins.
Anyone used cordless?

Never found electric ones have the torque of a decent petrol. Depends how much lawn you have to cut. I've always stuck to Hayter
Get a sheep! Never runs out of battery, dont need to sharpen the blades, quality chops/mutton when its outlived its purpose

On topic, the size and cost of battery needed for even a moderate lawn means the honda engined mower, without vtec, is still the way to go!

Petrol all the way, get a remap and an exhaust, maybe a cold plug and off ya go - of you go to stage 3a you might see 9hp but its a bit of a beast at that and might do donuts on your lawn.
