No spark on newly fitted engine.

Hi I have just finished putting my engine back in after a long time, the car ran OK before removal now I cant get it to run. I have fuel but no spark. Now I have done the following:

    Checked connections OK

Read the ECU got error code 21 IGN error.

I have gone through the fault finding guide in the manual EF EC 91 up to the point where you need to connect a logic probe to the ECU outputs.
Since i dont have this I used a oscilloscope and I did read a spike from the ECU, so i assume this is OK.

    What do I check next.

    thanks nismo
