    What could cause this noise?

So I changed the clutch / flywheel a little while ago and now the car has a noise that wasn't there before.

When cruising it's "silent", but when I add a bit more throttle there is this high frequency whining noise. And once it gets on boost the noise disappears.

Any idea what could cause it? Might not be clutch related as I had to take the exhaust off and move the engine when I removed / put the gearbox back.

    Here is a vid:

I assume it only happens when your driving, not reving when at standstill.

the buzzing sounds like resonating at a certain frequency like two surfaces are touching. is your exhaust touching any part of the body? Also what clutch/flywheel do you have as i know some can rattle and squeak although normally not when engaged.

I have tried to look at the exhaust and it does not appear to be touching anything. But the elbow is very close to the gearbox. Clutch is ATS Spec1 Metal Twin.

I think it might be the turbo that is making the noise...

    Didn't look too good:

Looks like something has gone into it

Is the filter coming appart on the inside or do you have a split on the intake tube and it’s pulled something in ?
