Question Clutch damper- remove or keep?

My SX just got a new clutch fitted and the garage had an awful time bleeding the clutch cylinders. They suggested removing the restrictor valve as an "upgrade".
Is this a good thing or bad thing? My car is a road car, so I don't want a nasty vibration or whatever. So what are the pros and cons?

Removed mine, I’ve not noticed a difference but it’s easier to bleed

Same as Chris, not had one for years, just a single hose between cylinders.
