Same here, although I might use it as an office chair until I can get a subframe lol.

I might put some more spacers on mine, might try and get the back to something like an ET-10

Nice! I wish I could do that, but I need my arches flared, plus it rubs like crazy already because I only have a S Tune setup.

You are not supposed to test a LSD equiped car on brake rollers anyway

They are supposed to put a little box in the passenger footwell and take it for a drive

My rear arch sits about 2mm from the tyre without any rubbing

So thats only 6mm further out than what I have and I was thinking another 9mm on top of that.......hmmmm maybe I’ll pass on that.

oh and your front wheels need spacers

He used that machine in the passenger footwell.

I don’t think he knows I’ve got an LSD to be fair, he’s a ford man more than a Jap man.

Downside with the subframes on ebay is they are 6-8 weeks and I can’t wait that long lol.

I’m wondering if the subframes on the apex groupbuy will fit.

Right still need to find a base mount seat rail as I keep walking into the front room just to sit in the bucket seat and make car noises and pidgeon noises, this isn't good for my mental health lol. Can't deal with having to wait 6-8 weeks for the ones on ebay either.

I've also sold my old KYB suspension so the 1JZ fund has begun, game plan will probably be to have all the parts for the end of the year and make it the winter project for a sweet 2011 car .

Until then I need to sort out a few bits.

    • There's something not right with the front brakes, under heavy braking a knocking noise starts then when the brakes cool a bit it stops, might swap the discs over and see if that helps. Or possibly rebuild the calipers as they've done nearly 100k now. (It's a bit of a bugger as they are 330mm grooved disks with yellow stuff pads)
    • Find the boost leak (or possibly replace the turbo gasket again grrrrr)
    • Find some Zenki side skirts and fit them along with the zenki spats still sitting in my room
    • Fit some track rod ends
    • Fit the alignment kit and get the car aligned
    • Get a new gear knob sorted
    • Get a harness to go with the seat
    • Get rid of the mongoose exhaust for a big jap can again (anyone want to swap?)
    • Reposition the intercooler higher up so I don't keep getting stuck in car parks
    • Get a smaller front number plate

    Another little update.

On saturday I helped Mark sort a few bits on his car and then once we were finished I thought I'd fit the steering rack bushes.

Here's the old and new bushes, the steering feels a bit better but the alignment still needs sorting yet. Might get some track rod ends before that aswell.

Then on Sunday I went for a bit of a drive and took a few shots, nothing special and I was really messing around on photoshop and I'm not sure on them now but I know you all love photo's

    Forza 3 style shot

Thanks Simon, Not sure about the nicest Damson on here to be honest, I can think of a few others. Think my pictures just help it a bit lol.

The bushes are meant to improve the steering response and they have done a bit but until the alignment is sorted I don’t think it will really show.

Sounds good to me, MEL wants some photo’s done aswell and so does Pablo and DAL so I think I’ll try and arrange a day for it. Get some Calender shots throughout the summer then.
