  • Hello Jeff

I'm sending you this pm regarding a thread i posted that was removed.

The thread was relating to a a group buy set up by the BDC with Fabricage for roll cages for Nissan S and R bodies.

I had the thread removed due to the fact i was classed as a trader.

As I am not a trader, have no business interest in Fabricage nor stand to make any money from the group buy I cannot see why this is viewed as a trading post?

If someone posted on your website asking where they could buy a roll cage / intercooler / race harness etc etc and someone recommends they buy it somewhere is that classed as trading? I merely posted to draw attention to the fact that the BDC has negotiated with Fabricage regarding the price of roll cages. This, effectively, gives your members the opportunity of buying something they might already independently have purchased from Fabricage or elsewhere at a competitive price, thereby saving them money.

Personally I would have thought that something to save members money would have been of benifit to your forum and your members.

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Many thanks

    Mark Buckle

On behalf of the BDC team.
Hi I've been advised to contact you re; the sale of same embossed metal HKS badges I have.
I'm not a trader but have sold quite a few SX related items on the forum from cars I broken over the last few years, helps with the upkeep of the main car.
I've bought a job lot of HKS car badges from a liquidation sale with the intent of passing them on to anyone interested on the forum.
Here is a pic of the badge in question

I don't want to breach forum sale rules, but I do have a few I these I need to get rid of.
Could you advise me on the correct format on posting a sale thread, would it be a GB ? or private ad? etc thanks in advance for your guidence.
    Regards Mark
