Yea it’s great now I’ve finally got it where I want it. Was amazing being able to take it to so many different places. I calculated it all properly and got 28.5MPG which I was happy with!

That's decent MPG for these cars. I am guessing your weren't pootling it either. Those european roads are lovely!

Probably because the torque gets you down the road quicker and you dont feel the need to drive everywhere at full throttle ;)

Car looks amazing mate. I've been meaning to take mine into France on a road trip for years! Glad it was a good trip for you and gave good MPG!

Certainly getting the fusebox and modules etc out of there. Not sure how far to go just yet as the engine will be coming out eventually but didn’t want to do too much in one go and risk an electrical issue.

Ideally I’d like a tubbed / tube front but not really sure who does them etc
 
Makes sense. There is a guy down here that does some good work. Look for muzzle fabrication on Facebook. Likely a little far from you though :(
