Another winter another rip down! I did 404 miles this year but did go to a good amount of meet-ups a car show and went on an epic 50 odd mile hoon just before this. Car ran faultlessly so fusebox relocation worked well!
This time I’m going to remove any wiring I was too nervous to the first time around and shift a few mechanical bits around as it’s off to Huxley Motorsport for front tubs and some adjustments of the centre support area for my intercooler plans.
Got rid of this so far. The addition of the alarm system in UK from new is such a hack job! But I guess it’s worked for 25 years…

Thanks, I must admit I tend to stick to indoor shows now [emoji28] April will probably be too ambitious with how much time I have to put into it these days.
Will probably see the road in 2026 now.

Cars all ready to go to Huxley for the tubs and a few bits welding.
I’ve thinned the engine harness and sorted it so it can run inside the car and come out behind the inlet plenum instead of on the hot side of the bay. Should be nice and clean over there.
Taarks power steering pump relocation on here, new Greddy plenum with radium rail, IDX1050s and Bosch DBW throttle body loosely fitted too ready for intercooler pipework.
All the blue tape is factory holes to be welded up.

So it’s back!
Marc at Huxley Motorsport is an absolute artist. What he’s done is well beyond my expectation.
Tubs infront and behind the turret. The tubs are all welded from behind so there’s no visible welds
Passengers side firewall replaced to remove all holes. Custom braces behind the turrets. Removable slam panel.
Custom BMC (as the ones available are so ugly!)
Modified my Greddy long port plenum to remove all the conventional throttle body part to suit the Bosch DBW TB
He’s made the exhaust to join up with my Blitz Nur Spec all V banded and done me a screamer from the turbosmart wastegate.
Made all the intercooler pipes and added my turbosmart blow off valve.
To date I’ve hated every single person who’s worked on my car as they are all terrible, Marc however is a genuine car guy and it shows in his workmanship

Long time no update so I’ll do it in sections!
Once the car was back from Huxley I set about taking the engine out to get the chassis protected. Used the bilt hamber system with a POR15 gloss top coat in the arches.

Guys, guys! Calm down. I know you’re all begging for the next instalment! Well here it is. I slammed that SR20DET so hard into that S14a it made the baby Jesus cry.
But…that wasn’t all! I’d man mathed my way all the way to a Nismo Twin Supercopper mix clutch (little spoiler it’s fucking awesome)
